Mae rhaglen MISTI Global Teaching Labs yng Nghymru yn rhaglen effeithiol a thrawsffurfiol unigryw, sydd yn dod â hyfforddwyr STEM arbenigol o Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) i ystafelloedd dosbarth ac ystafelloedd staff ar draws Cymru.
Trwy’r fenter partneriaethiol hon, nod Llywodraeth Cymru, MIT ac Equal Education Partners yw i gynyddu ymgysylltiad â phynciau STEM trwy archwilio materion y byd go iawn ac i rymuso dysgwyr i ymdrechu i gyflawni eu potensial llawn yn yr ystafell ddosbarth a thu hwnt.

Yn 2021, Cefnogodd 18 hyfforddwr a gymerodd ran o Sefydliad Technoleg Massachusetts (MIT) a Phrifysgol Iâl-Genedlaethol Singapore (Yale-NUS) ysgolion a cholegau trwu gyflwyno gwersi a gweithdai byw a recordiwyd ymlaen llaw, a trwy gyflwyno cefnogaeth cyd-gwricwlaidd, allgyrsiol ac uwch-gwricwlaidd. Yn ogystal, mae cynnwys wedi’i recordio gan rai o fyfyrwyr prifysgol STEM mwyaf talentog y byd wedi’u casglu a’i defnyddio i ymestyn hirhoedledd y rhaglen ac effaith dysgu

Teaching through the Global Teaching Labs in Wales programme was the most unique experience I’ve had at MIT so far. The opportunity to speak with the Minister for Education in Wales was remarkable. I deeply appreciate the opportunity to speak with people who have made such impactful changes to a whole education system. Overall, teaching in Wales was an incredible opportunity that I cannot express the full value.
MISTI GTL InstructorI want to take the opportunity to thank Equal Education Partners and the MIT instructors for what has been a very beneficial experience, and one in which we would like to participate again. All the live sessions have been very well-received and this has been a very worthwhile experience for our pupils and certainly an effective way to broaden their horizons.
