Liam works closely with institutions including the Welsh Government and the EWC to solve challenges facing the education sector – bolstering talent attraction & retention, widening higher education access and improving STEM education.
Liam has also worked in Investment Management at BW Group & Goldman Sachs, in Singapore & Norway.
Liam is an Executive Committee member for the REC, a member of Yale’s ASC and an external reader for the Fulbright. In 2019, Liam was awarded a St Davids Award for expanding access to world class education.
As an undergrad, Liam studied Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE) at Yale-NUS College and Yale University, graduating with a distinction. From September 2021, Liam will be pursuing an MBA and an MA in Education at Stanford University.
Carolyn has overseen the growth of our Education Recruitment and Training teams since Equal’s establishment in 2011. Carolyn focuses on enabling schools to attract, develop and retain excellent education professionals with a strong commitment to ethical employment and ensuring that all educators feel valued and supported. Carolyn coordinates Professional Learning for our team members, including working with school improvement bodies, the Welsh Government and the EWC to do so.
Carolyn is an experienced Spanish & French teacher, having completed her BA in European Languages & Institutions at Leeds University and her PGCE at Swansea University. In 2018, Carolyn completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Business Programme delivered by the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford in collaboration with the Goldman Sachs Foundation.
Thomas oversees our compliance processes, ensuring full adherence to the standards set by our REC Audited Education accreditation, the NPS framework for supply staffing and all legislative requirements.
Thomas also coordinates our International Partnerships work, including working with MIT, the Welsh Government, schools & colleges to deliver the MISTI GTL in Wales initiative and supporting the Seren’s partnership with the YYGS programme at Yale.
Thomas is a qualified IQA and is currently pursuing an MSc in Management at the University of York and an MBA at Hult International Business School. Prior to Equal, Thomas was a Lead Auditor with one of the UK’s largest approved inspectors. Before that, Thomas worked in the Planning and Public Protection department within a local authority.
As Project Manager for our International Partnerships team, Rebecca supports the delivery of the MISTI Global Teaching Labs initiative and Seren’s summer programmes at Yale, Oxford and other institutions. This includes maintaining all safer recruitment procedures and coordinating with all schools & colleges, instructors and university partners. Rebecca is also involved in developing promotional and marketing content. Rebecca is passionate about bilingualism and embedding Welsh cultural experiences in our programmes. For our recruitment team, Rebecca manages compliance & vetting of teachers and support staff.
Rebecca studied French and Spanish (through the medium of Welsh) as an undergraduate at Swansea University, where she earned a First Class degree, and went on to gain a Distinction in her MA in Translation and Interpreting.
As Head of Partnerships & Development, Devon supports Equal’s directors to develop new initiatives and works closely with both public, private & third sector organisations to strategically solve challenges in education and talent attraction.
Prior to joining Equal Talent Partners, Devon worked in a wide range of roles with large multi-national organisations including at DHL Logistics, Aston Martin and the Bank of Montreal.
Devon completed an undergraduate honours degree in Political Science and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
