In another significant milestone for Equal Education Partners, we have recently received the news that we have once again secured a position on the Welsh Government’s framework for education recruitment.
This recognition comes as a culmination of four years of successful collaboration in providing high quality education professionals to schools, colleges and local authorities across Wales through the existing framework.
Kelly Whiteway, Associate Director at Equal was delighted by the announcement:
“Being awarded a place on the Welsh Government’s framework is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. This milestone allows us to further expand our reach, opening doors to more roles and work opportunities for our candidates.
This also reaffirms our commitment to supporting schools and colleges across Wales and providing quality assurance in all our work. The growth of our office team, alongside the increasing demand for our services, inspires us to keep pushing the boundaries of excellence in education recruitment.”
Supporting Wales’ Educational Growth
Equal Education Partners has played an instrumental role in supporting schools across Wales, powering the recruitment of over 1,500 qualified teachers and teaching assistants to date.
Our commitment to teaching excellence and dedication to providing the best educational resources to our teaching staff and schools is highlighted through our growing online professional learning platform – The Equal Education Partners Academy – as well as in-person professional learning courses, enriching the teaching and learning experience for educators and learners alike.
We place the utmost priority on safeguarding and child protection. The organisation proudly holds the REC Audited Education accreditation, a testament to our adherence to best practices in safeguarding protocols. This commitment ensures that all candidates working with EEP can trust that their safety and well-being are paramount.
As an ethical employer, we also place a strong emphasis on compliance, ensuring that all candidates are treated with respect and integrity, with access to high quality CPD opportunities. The recent announcement of paying a minimum of £157.66 per day (equivalent to £30,742 per annum) to all qualified teachers reflects our dedication to fair compensation and recognition of the invaluable contribution made by all teaching staff.
Acknowledging Our Team and Partners
Carolyn Rahman, Group Executive Director of Equal was quick to praise the role of Equal’s teaching staff and partner schools in this achievement:
“I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our team of teachers and learning support assistants. Without your hard work and professionalism this would not have been possible – you have been the backbone of Equal’s success. Without your commitment to long-term placements and supply work, this achievement would not have been possible.
I’d also like to thank the dedication of our teaching team members and partner schools & colleges, particularly during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. At such an unprecedented time, working together was key in helping many schools to remain open.
I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together during the next academic year and beyond.”
Expanding Horizons
As Equal Education Partners continues to grow and thrive, we are celebrating the opening of a new, larger office in Swansea Vale and also a new West Wales office in Llandeilo Market Hall. These expansions represent our commitment to better serve the educational community in Wales as a whole as well as stay true to our West Wales roots, providing enhanced support to candidates and schools.
