    Not a numbers person? Count on Maths for Adults Wales to put this right!

    Maths for Adults Wales was part of Multiply, a UK Government funded programme offering easy access to free Maths courses which supported participants in gaining a better understanding of numbers in real-world contexts. Mastering Maths isn’t just about exams; it’s about unlocking a world of possibilities.

    Our inclusive, fun and informative courses empowered participants, helping to build confidence and skills to support many aspects of daily life. Courses were open to all aged 19 or above who didn’t have a GCSE Maths grade C.

    Equal Education Partners delivered courses within many Welsh Local Authorities. Discover more about what we offered participants in different areas:

    Rhondda Cynon Taf

    We offered a wide range of in-person and online adult Maths courses, including work-based skills, GCSE-equivalent courses, life-skills such as budgeting, and skills to support children's Maths learning.

    Caerphilly

    Maths adult learning courses created to support participants in a wide variety of contexts including supporting your little ones with homework and improving your budgeting skills. Courses were available both in-person, online and on demand.

    Torfaen

    Work-based, sector-specific Maths courses developed with the support of local employers throughout Torfaen.

    Powys

    Maths courses developed alongside StoriPowys created to improve the number confidence and equip participants with better advice to support children with their homework.

    Offering Marketing support to promote courses from partner organisations throughout the Merthyr Tydfil Borough.

    Understanding and managing personal finances are critical life skills. Through Maths for Adults Wales, we provided individuals with the Maths skills they need to budget, save, invest, and make informed financial decisions, ultimately contributing to their financial well-being.

    Through the Maths for Adults Wales programme, we were dedicated to helping participants develop specific Maths skills required in the workplace.
