Maths for Adults Wales was part of Multiply, a UK Government funded programme offering easy access to free Maths courses which supported participants in gaining a better understanding of numbers in real-world contexts. Mastering Maths isn’t just about exams; it’s about unlocking a world of possibilities.
Our inclusive, fun and informative courses empowered participants, helping to build confidence and skills to support many aspects of daily life. Courses were open to all aged 19 or above who didn’t have a GCSE Maths grade C.

Our primary aim was to boost overall confidence with Maths. Throughout delivery, we empowered individuals to approach numerical tasks with self-assurance. We believe that increased numerical confidence can lead to improved decision-making and problem-solving in various aspects of life.
Understanding and managing personal finances are critical life skills. Through Maths for Adults Wales, we provided individuals with the Maths skills they need to budget, save, invest, and make informed financial decisions, ultimately contributing to their financial well-being.

I was told in college that I was probably dyslexic and I’m currently waiting for a ADHD assessment which would explain my whole life. I didn’t do well with my GCSEs, it was all too much going on.
I spent a lot of money re-doing my GCSEs but never did maths as I feel like maths does not go into my head and I am embarrassed when it comes to numbers if I’m honest.
When I saw the Multiply numeracy courses, I knew I had to get involved.
