A fantastic discussion with students at the Children’s International School in Lagos, Nigeria
On Wednesday 30 June 2021, four STEM instructors from the Global Teaching Labs in Wales 2021 programme with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Seren International Online 2021 programme hosted by Jesus College, Oxford in partnership with University of Oxford, Equal Education Partners, Yale-NUS and MIT met virtually with students from Children’s International School (CIS) in Lagos, Nigeria.
The four instructors (Rana and Cathy representing Yale-NUS, Isuf representing MIT and Elin representing Oxford University) shared with the class their own experiences studying and working in STEM, answered questions that the students had and offered advice and guidance to progress academically and professionally in the world of STEM.
