Equal Education Partners is thrilled to announce a new marketing partnership with Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council to promote the delivery of the UK Government funded Multiply numeracy programme.

Bridging the maths knowledge gap

The Multiply numeracy programme is a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing numeracy skills across the United Kingdom, empowering adults aged 19 and over, who may have previously faced challenges with numeracy skills and who don’t have a C grade at GCSE mathematics (or equivalent).

With the support of the delivery partners, Tydfil Training, Citizens Advice Merthyr, and the Council’s own Adult Community Learning team, Equal is promoting the free and accessible suite of courses to the local community of Merthyr Tydfil, highlighting the benefits of good numeracy knowledge and fostering a culture of lifelong learning.

The courses are all designed to build confidence with numeracy, equipping participants with support and practical applications of maths in areas such as supporting their children’s homework, managing household finances, and advancing their careers effectively.

Owen Evans, Managing Director, had this to say:

“I am absolutely delighted Equal has secured the contract to promote the Multiply programme across Merthyr Tydfil. We strive to achieve a positive impact with all our partnerships, and this work is no different. Alongside the Council, Tydfil Training and Citizens Advice Merthyr we can deliver an excellent service to the people of the Merthyr area.

Digital & marketing is the newest department within Equal, building on over 12 years of supporting the education sector. To secure this contract is testament to the expertise and hard work of those who make up the team. I look forward to continuing to work with our partners to deliver an exceptional marketing service that ultimately benefits the people of Merthyr Tydfil.”
